Qtrax player configuration utility helps to check the system compatibilities and helps them to resolve it. It is recommended to execute this utility first and solve the dependencies before Qtrax player installation. If you have Qtrax 0.3 player beta, it would helps to troubleshoot the configuration issues.

1. Download the Player Configuration Utility. Download now.
2. Click on executable.
3. Click on the “Step 1 > Verify” button. Its checks the availability of required components on the system.
   1. If any required component is needed to be updated on the system, the details would be provided in the “Required Actions” section.
   2. Copy or type the URL in the MS Internet Explorer (IE) browser only as Windows updates works only in IE.
4. Reset DRM : If the “Upgrade” button is grayed out or you are getting “QPL106” error while you try to play a song in Qtrax player, you might need to reset your DRM Store. Warning: This procedure affects all media files on the computer that use Windows Media DRM technology. The effect of this procedure is not limited to media files that you obtained from the Qtrax. If you follow this procedure, content licenses for all protected media files on the hard disk are deleted. Other providers, such as, Napster, MSN Music, and Wal-Mart, use different mechanisms for restoring licenses. If you have content from other providers, examine the appropriate license restoration policies before you continue.
   To reset the DRM store, click on “Step 2 > Reset DRM.”

To play Qtrax songs, the windows media player should have following DRM security updates.

Follow the instructions on the site to upgrade the components.
If upgrade button is greyed out, then you might need to reset DRM settings.
Go to “Reset DRM”.

Follow the instructions on the site to upgrade the components.
If upgrade button is greyed out, then you might need to reset DRM settings.
Go to “Reset DRM”.

Install the Qtrax 0.3 player.
Download the Qtrax Player.
Click on the executable and follow the instructions.

   To do a PrintScreen, press the 'PrintScreen' or 'PrtScr' button on your keyboard
   (usually located around on the top right). Launch MS Paint
   (Start > Accessories > Paint). Click EDIT from the Paint software, and select 'Paste'.
   Then save the file as a JPG image.
