I have successfully installed Qtrax but when I play mp3 files from my computer nothing happens?
Qtrax is capable of playing MP3's that you have on your computer. Please make sure that the file is not corrupt and that you have properly installed audio drivers.

How do I play songs I have downloaded?
You can play songs that you have downloaded in the Qtrax player.  Go to your library and click on the music you would like to hear.

I am not able to play songs downloaded from Qtrax?
Songs downloaded from Qtrax can only be played in the Qtrax player. If you get any error messages while playing songs, please check the error codes in the “PLAYER ISSUES” section and report to Qtrax support if necessary.

Can I play music purchased through iTunes in Qtrax?
Qtrax is capable of playing both music files that you have purchased from iTunes, as well as MP3s that you already have on your computer.  You will need to have QuickTime installed on your computer.  Files downloaded from iTunes are protected via a technology called Fairplay, which restricts the playback of files to the user's computer.  As long as you are on the computer where you downloaded the tracks, you will be able to play them using the Qtrax player.

Where is my Qtrax library?
If your library tab is not open, you can get to your library by expanding the toolbar and selecting "Library." This can be done by clicking the ">>" button located on the left side of the toolbar next to the "Back" button, followed by clicking "Library."

Do I need to be logged in to play music?
Yes, you will only be able to play music when you are logged into Qtrax.

Why is it that when I download a song, the time shown as 0:00?
Since Qtrax downloaded songs are DRM protected Qtrax must contact DRM before playing songs. Once song is verified and begins play, it will display the actual time of the track.

Do I need to be connected to Internet to play downloads?
Yes, you must be connected to Internet since Qtrax downloaded songs are DRM protected and for license verification you must be connected to the Internet.
